61/365: A Quick Run in the Snow

In list format because it’s quicker and I’m all about quicker and efficient-er.

1. Well, that’s not quite true. It should be true. But it’s not true.

2. It’s been two months since I started my 365 and it’s still going strong. I’m not only amazed, I’m thrilled and awed! I can’t believe I’m 1/6 of the way through.

2.5. I’m doing a month in black and white – a la Justine Gordon. It’s getting harder. Not that there is anything that colorful to picture anyway…

3. In those same two months, I’ve had 5 birthdays and 3 major holidays on my calendar.

4. Since I’ve made it through the busiest time of the year I think I can reasonably hope to get through.

5. Did you pick a word for the year? I did. But two days later I forgot what it was. Damn! It was a good one too!

6. Goals? Resolutions? Yeah, I had those too…umm, where did I stash that list again??

7. …well there’s always Lent to start over.

8. It’s cold. The wind is blowing so hard it’s making the little bit of snow we got drift and dance all over the sky and ground. Brrrr.

9. I really, really, really want to update everyday this year. So, I’m just going to pick myself up and start over again starting today. I will post tomorrow. Even if it’s just a quick picture and sentence. I will do it! How will I ever attract a mass readership if I never post? Because you know, I’m seeking to take over the blog world here… ; )

10. I don’t think I’m very funny. I’ll try better next time. It’s hard to be funny when you’ve got 10 minutes to write something before you run off to pick everyone up from school. Oh 2:30pm why do you have to get here so fast every day??
