I really admire you other moms-of-many who manage to find time to post to flickr everyday or your blogs. I am lucky to find time most days or when I do find time, I’m so tired — there is little spark left for creativity! Yesterday was one of those days. There was awful traffic on the beltway (two wrecks) which meant that all of my back roads were also crowded. And then because my husband was tied up with work, I spent from 5:30pm until 9pm in the car with all of the kids. Luckily the baby was asleep and stayed asleep!
To help manage the chaos, we are trying to organize a mass schedule (routine?) for the whole family. I tried to map it out on excel last night and only managed to confuse myself with the various colors I was trying to use for each kid. Oh my!

It’s nice to find you and your blog. Your schedule looks like it has potential. Such things don’t work for me; they simply add more stress, but it sounds like you have a lot to manage.

I’m really not very good with the schedule stuff either but we have a large age span between the kids and the poor 15 year old is trying to do some very difficult homework while the little ones are running around playing and laughing.
