Bridget agreed to sit for me, so I could give my new reflector (and some of my new knowledge) a go. I took about 20 shots. It’s always the first or the last that’s the one, isn’t it?

Yes, for me it’s usually the first, the one that I didn’t think did it and so I took more only to find out that it was acceptable all along.
