Growing up, everyone told me I looked like my father, or \u2014 even more so, his sister Mabel. Once in awhile I’d look in the mirror and see what they saw. No one ever told me I resembled my mother’s side of the family, and I could easily see why. But one day, stopping in front of a mirror shortly after my mother died seven years ago, I saw her staring back at me. Now, she’s there in the glass more often than not.<\/p>\n
