Work

Two engagements, chosen because they demonstrate different things. The first shows what it looks like when a site is built to last and to be maintained by its owner. The second shows what it looks like when something has to be built quickly and correctly at the same time.

Visitation Organization

Professional home organizing, Northern Virginia · 2019 to present

A solo business owner needed a site that would bring her qualified inquiries and that she could keep current herself between projects.

I designed and built it, and I have hosted and maintained it since 2019. The home page is structured as a funnel rather than a brochure. The hero splits visitors by intent, sending those ready to act straight to booking and everyone else to services, and the page then works through the problem, the offer, her own story, and client testimonials before a final call to action. Booking hands off directly into her client management platform, so an inquiry becomes a scheduled call without anyone retyping anything.

Just as important, it was built so that she can update her own copy, photography, and testimonials without calling me. She does, regularly, and the site has stayed current for seven years.

A first paid program

Catholic publishing apostolate · 2026

A publisher with an established readership wanted to sell its first paid program, a six-week live course, and had no way to take payment, no way to follow up with buyers, and no way to know where registrations came from.

I built the path from first click to enrolled student. The registration page was constructed from the existing site's design system so that it would stay visually consistent and could later be folded into the main site, and it was version controlled and deployed by push rather than edited live.

Checkout was chosen specifically because a purchase automatically tags the buyer and triggers an email sequence, rather than for a marginally lower transaction fee. The tagging separates people who paid from people who also completed the shipping step for their included book, with an automated reminder to anyone caught between the two. Channel-tagged links and analytics let the team see which of their properties actually produced registrations rather than just traffic.

It launched in two stages: a waitlist opened inside an existing engaged audience, a twenty-four hour exclusive window for that list, then general release. Concept to open registration took six weeks.

Your situation is probably one of these two.

Either something needs building properly the first time, or something needs building fast without becoming a mess. Tell me which, and I will tell you what it would take.
