Artist Statement
The best photography evokes a mood in the viewer. In my own work, I strive to create a dreamy, nostalgic mood, sometimes a bit dark but always with a spark of hope. The interplay between focus and blur, light and shadows, produce a feeling of memories that cannot be completely grasped but slip away; things that we see out of the corners of our eyes, but when we turn are gone.
