Interesting Find

I’ve been interested in photography that tells stories for more than a few years now. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been mulling over the idea of starting a series on the blog based on storytelling. That’s the idea here: take photos of an “event” during the week and then post the edited story on Monday. So here is a little “event” that I staged — only in part to take pictures!

A beautiful day, unbelievable temperature...and no where to go. We decided to put up the tent and hang out in the backyard.

The tunnel rolled down the hill with the 4 year old inside. Danny had to see what was going on.

All that running around and interacting with his little siblings wore the teenager out. He had to retreat to electronics...and Monster.

Luke took a break to enjoy a bit of a snack, but was riveted to the game going on outside the tent.

So much for our backyard camping adventure. The tent remained up the rest of the day. Late afternoon, several kids went back out and had some popcorn and juice in there. The next day threatened rain so we had to take it down.

Now to start working on next week’s story.
