I’m so happy to be linking up today with Barb from Keeping with the Times blog and her App Happy Wednesday. I promise myself every week that I will get a post up and then I turn around and it’s Friday. I love photo apps and so much of the fun of mobile photography is in the apps and the instant sharing.

For the past few weeks I’ve been tinkering with SKRWT. I don’t take too many shots where the mobile phone’s wide-angle lens distortion causes a problem but when it’s a problem, its a real problem and it really bugs me. Here is the same image straight from the camera.

See what I mean? Yuck! Windows should not be trapezoids.

SKRWT is super intuitive and very easy to use. Pick an axis to un-distort, roll the dial until it looks like it’s lining up, crop and save.

The rest of the picture was done in VSCO. After Snapseed, it’s my go-to app for image correction.

Until next time, have an App Happy Wednesday!
